GParted is the Gnome Partition Editor application. It is an industrial-strength package for creating, destroying, resizing, checking and copying partitions, and the file systems on them. This is useful for creating space for new operating systems, reorganizing disk usage, copying data residing on hard disks and mirroring one partition with another (disk imaging).
GParted LiveCD aims to be fast, small in size, and use minimal resources to get that disk partitioned the way you want it. It uses Xorg, the lightweight Fluxbox window manager, and the lastest 2.6 Linux Kernel.
** Det er en god ide at bruge GParted til at partionerer sin HD med.
Den er nem at bruge og mange gange mere sikker end de
det som er i PCLinuxOS og andre LiveCD linux.
Lav dine partioneringer først og installer så din Linux
så kan det ikke gå helt galt.
