Men ingen skanner.
If you just go the latest and greates scanner from EPSON, chances are that I've not yet added it's product ID to the backend. This means that you have to tell the backend what vendor/product IDs to look for. This is done by usign the standard Sane syntax for libusb support: "usb " - you have to replace the and strings with the data from your scanner. The new Perfection 3200 for example would use this command in epson.conf: "usb 0x4b8 0x11c".
Pu,ha! Ikke om den vil! Men jeg har set i Epsonvejledningen: "The SANE package version 1.0.3 or later must be installed before installing Image Scan! for Linux."
I Synaptic er der SANE version 1.0.24.

Er "Image scan" installeret under Grafik programmerne?
Hvad siger :
lsusb
om din scanners product ID
Hos mig:
lsusb Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 003 Device 003: ID 04b8:080e Seiko Epson Corp. PX-A550 [CX-3500/3600/3650 MFP] Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 002 Device 002: ID 046d:c018 Logitech, Inc. Optical Wheel Mouse Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
altså Bus 003 Device 003: ID 04b8:080e Seiko Epson Corp. PX-A550 [CX-3500/3600/3650 MFP]
leafpad /etc/sane.d/epson.conf
og tilføje " 04b8 080e" til usb
# epson.conf # # here are some examples for how to configure the EPSON backend # # SCSI scanner: scsi EPSON # for the GT-6500: scsi "EPSON SC" # # Parallel port scanner: #pio 0x278 #pio 0x378 #pio 0x3BC # # USB scanner: # There are two different methods of configuring a USB scanner: libusb and the kernel module # For any system with libusb support (which is pretty much any recent Linux distribution) the # following line is sufficient. This however assumes that the connected scanner (or to be more # accurate, it's device ID) is known to the backend. usb 04b8 080e # For libusb support for unknown scanners use the following command # usb <product ID> <device ID> # e.g.: # usb 0x4b8 0x110 # And for the scanner module, use the following configuration: #usb /dev/usbscanner0 #usb /dev/usb/scanner0
gem.

her på min 64bit maskine
su Password: [root@localhost]# cd Downloads/ [root@localhost Downloads]# cd iscan-bundle-1.0.0.x64.rpm [root@localhost iscan-bundle-1.0.0.x64.rpm]# cd data [root@localhost data]# ls iscan-data-1.36.0-1.noarch.rpm [root@localhost data]# rpm -i iscan-data-1.36.0-1.noarch.rpm
